1920s Corona 3 Folding Typewriter ALL NEW RUBBER

$600.00
Sold Out

This wonderful machine is a first generation Corona 3, the first commercially successful portable typewriter, introduced around 1912. This particular example is over 100 years old (don’t remember the exact date, between ‘21 and ‘23). It features a full brand new keyboard, new feet, new feed rollers, and a new platen. It also comes with a brand new red and black ribbon and has been adjusted so every character prints fully in both colors. You couldn’t ask for a better example of this machine! Comes ready to type out of the box. It even has a good condition bird decal on the paper table, those rub off easy. Only downside: no case, but it’s so small you could tote it around in a shoebox. Or a shoulder bag…or under a really large hat.
