I don’t believe it is possible to do this machine justice with words or photos, or even a video. It’s a showstopper, a true sight to behold in person. This Royal P has been fully and intensely restored, and is about as close to factory new as you could hope to achieve. Aside from it’s rare factory original blue duotone finish, with no paint flaking or cracking, it also features the super rare and highly sought after Vogue typeface. This unique Art Deco typeface debuted on this line of typewriters in 1927.

The machine is in pristine cosmetic condition, with only minor paint wear in the usual spots, and a few small chips. The internal metal finishes show minimal to no wear at all, shining bright and clean like the day they were made. The internals of the machine have been removed and hand cleaned, including each individual linkage. The key legends are unstained, and all uniform, and each keytop and key ring has been hand polished to a mirror shine. It features a brand new rubber platen, brand new feed rollers, brand new paper bail rollers, and a brand new set of rubber feet. Truly a superb writing machine. Each letter has been carefully calibrated to deliver the best print, and the escapement has been dialed in for a smooth and uniform typing experience.

This machine comes ready to type right out of the box with a brand new blue ribbon to compliment it’s amazing color. This machine is truly one of a kind, and a stunning example of Art Deco design and utility.

The machine also comes in it’s original carrying case, though it’s a bit worn out and damaged. It has a new leather handle.
