1930s Royal Model P (Elite)

$450.00
Sold Out

This is a wonderful Royal Model P, a popular portable typewriter from the 1930s. This particular machine is made out of four different parts typewriters, with the core of the mechanics coming from two different machines. Took some technical gymnastics to get this machine working!

It features brand new carriage rails, a different escapement, brand new front feed rollers, paper bail rollers, and rubber feet, as well as a new ribbon. It types with a lovely Elite typeface (12 characters to the inch), and has been fully cleaned, serviced, and adjusted. Works very well!

Probably one of the best looking traditional portable typewriters out there. Perfect for display, but especially perfect for writing.
