This is a 1950s Nagra III with the optional Pilottone sync system, and a tone button. Nagra is known for producing some of the greatest audio devices in history, and this particular was their first solid state recorder. A truly beautiful machine that revolutionized the way we use sound.
The machine functions beautifully. Belts were replaced, it has a new pinch roller, new caps and transistors, and adjustments. Exceptional machine, in very good working order and excellent cosmetic condition. The unit is unmodified, and the lid is quite clear. All badges and labels on this are shiny, though the machine does show signs of wear and use. Please examine photos carefully.
