1956 Royal Quiet Deluxe in Ankony Blue
This is probably one of my favorite colors in the Quiet Deluxe series, aside from Sunbeam Yellow of course. This gorgeous machine has been fully clean and serviced, with new rubber and a new ribbon. It comes ready to type with the lovely Canterbury Pica typeface! It also has a rather unique card holder that is well suited for use with small pieces of paper.
The case of the machine is worse for wear, and there is some paint damage in a few spots around the machine, it isn’t absolutely pristine cosmetically, but functionally it is everything you could want and more. These aren’t the fastest typers, but they print very nicely and do good quality work. The feel at the keys is wonderfully light and smooth, and the sound, though not quiet, is dampened compared to other machines.
It is the perfect piece of classic 1950s equipment for new users or long type typists alike!
