1961 Olympia SM 4 SCRIPT (cursive)
It isn’t easy to come across typewriter that type cursive. Of those machines, I feel that the Olympias have the nicest designed cursive typefaces that are both elegant and easy to read. The drop caps on these typefaces are my absolute favorite. To top it off, this beautiful typeface comes on an Olympia SM4, one of the greatest portable typewriters ever made. And if that wasn’t enough, the darn thing is a gorgeous powder blue, a more rare color on these machines. This particular machine has been well loved and the paint is a bit sun-faded, but it is wonderfully clean and well preserved. It has been fully serviced, adjusted, and has new rubber feet and a new platen. It also comes with the original carrying case.
The previous owner of the machine was known for sending cursive letters with green ink, so in keeping with that, this machine features a green nylon ribbon.
