This lovely blue Remington standard has had a full clean, service, and adjust, and is ready to type circles around the majority of other 1960s typewriters. The style may not be for everyone, but the color and typing feel sure is. Don’t be fooled by the plastic body shell, there is a metallic beast lurking within.
Cosmetically, this machine is in very good condition, with only a few scuffs to take note of. The rear panel of the machine has been broken, and repaired with glue by a previous owner. The repair is holding well, but the glue has yellowed with age. In ordinary use, it is not noticeable. The rest of the machine sparkles like new, and it types even better.
Comes with a new ribbon, ready to type immediately. We will strongly caution against shipping as the plastic shell is very brittle, even with proper packing it is a risk.
