Olivetti Lettera 35L
It seems I have neglected to take as many glamour shots as I should have with this machine. The Lettera series is a legend of Italian typewriting, and this machine is is one of the last of the greats before manufacturing transitioned to plastic outer shells. This thing is solid metal in that regard. Comes with a brand new blue nylon ribbon, and a full complete service and cleaning so it is adjusted and typing like new.
This machine features a robustly sized spacebar for those who felt like they were missing something on the older Letteras…no more do you have to accidentally miss the pointlessly small spacebar that maybe looks cool, but makes you hate everything. This spacebar is about 4 times the size, really hard to miss. It’s like a helicopter landing pad. If you still can’t nail the spacebar, perhaps it’s…dare I say, user error… (don’t shoot me I’m just the messenger…for myself granted).
The second photo is taken on expired film. I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel for photos of this machine. It really is nice though.
