These are original metal Smith Corona Spools designed to fit your pre war mid-sized smith corona portable typewriters.
These also work great on the Royal Flatbed series typewriters predating 1914.
These spools ARE NOT for use on the corona 3, special, four, or four improved. They are also not for use on Smith-Corona Standards.
Rather stupid if you ask me. The corona’s accept universal just fine, and the extra 8th inch doesn’t really give you more yield. Anyway, I have mounds of them, so just buy them.
